Sumit Tickoo, MD

Dr. Sumit Tickoo is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. With more than 12 yearsξof extensive experience in treating heart disease, Dr. Tickoo takes a collaborative approach to patient care with a focus on preventative action. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Health - Bridgeport Hospital and his Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship at Danbury Hospital. He received his Interventional Cardiology training with a special focus on complex coronary procedures with the internationally recognized team at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Tickoo has conducted clinical research and has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with his family.
